Due to strong demand DMS has introduced this new product. The DMS Gold 40mm performance street range of shock absorbers.

This is a simultaneously bump/rebound adjustable shock with a wide, useable range of adjustment giving users 30 settings total. This allows adjustments and setups suited for all applications, from comfortable touring to club motor sport.

DMS Gold 40mm shock absorbers have large piston ports giving this shock superior control allowing more precise tuning and setup. Our DMS blue shell case is made of chrome-moly 4130 high strength steel. Threaded and Fitted with screw-adjustable anodised aluminium spring seats and lock nut.

Adjustable camber available on mounting brackets (depending application) using offset cam washers which prevent "camber creep" by offering more consistant setup.

The 40mm shock absorber also uses the famous DMS double progressive springs which provide optimum comfort as well as unsurpassed performance when mated to our unique progressive valving. This setup will lower the EVO chasis about 15-25mm for optimum performance. All 40mm GOLD applications are suited to autocrossers, light track use, and daily driven cars. For competition type vehicules, we recommend the 50mm product line.

50mm 3-way
Our new DMS 50mm modular systems start with the basic 3-way adjustable shock absorber. This model is designed with the standard DMS large 50mm diameter high flow piston which allows excellent control and tuning ability. The 3 way adjustable shock absorber comes with High shaft speed adjustment and Low shaft speed adjustment on compression (bump) strokes as well as an indepandant Rebound adjustment. The high and low speed adjustment is located on the canister and the rebound adjustment is located on the shaft. The extra bump adjustment on high speed ensures even more tunability, this combined with the unique DMS adjustment system makes the 3 way adjustable shock absorber the perfect choice for the professional racer or for anyone starting out at the highest forms of track or rally racing. The material used in the manufacture of the 3 way adjustable shock is of the highest quality available. The shaft and main shock body are 4130 Chrome Moly, the canister and aluminium parts are 7075 aircraft quality alloy. All aluminium parts are hard anodised to give durability in the harsh conditions of motor sport. User may upgrade to 4, 5, 6 and 7 way models in the future withour replacing the entire assembly. Available in Gravel and Tarmac configurations for professional competition use only. Data Acquistion systems are highly recommended. These 3-way units allow each team to taylor their valving too their particular driving styles and habits with shims kits, etc available through your local trained DMS dealer. This system can be upgraded to accomodate additional types of adjustment in the future without replacing the entire unit. (upgradeble to 4, 5, 6, and 7 way units)

50mm 4-way
View Larger PhotoDMS 4 way adjustable shock absorber is also designed with the same 50mm large diameter high flow piston which allows excellent control and tunability. To enhance the ease of tuning the shock absorbers to the conditions etc., DMS has added a 4th adjustment on the compression (bump) to help the professional teams/drivers to arrive at the optimum setup for all types of conditions. With competition shock absorbers it is always a contentious topic of when high shaft speed adjustment starts, or when low shaft speed stops! With the new DMS 4 way adjustable shock absorber we have added an external adjustment that allows the engineer or tuner to control the point where the high speed adjustment starts, based on each teams individual data. To tune this system data logging is required to get optimum performance from the extra adjustment. The advantages with this type of setup is if a particular bump or hole is causing one wheel to bottom out at a particular shaft speed, the starting point of the high speed can be adjusted down, to assist the shock at that troublesome shaft speed, and the low to middle speed shaft adjustment does not have to be altered. With this indepenant change, maximum traction and ride quality can be sustained. The rebound adjustment is as in the 3 way adjustable shock absorber and is loctaed on the shaft and the bump adjustments are on the canister. This system gives maximum traction and also stability through the range of shaft speeds used at any particular track. It also enables the team to get the best setup in a very short time minimizing testing scenarios common with todays shocks were one setting is affecting or altering another.

50mm Rally (Gravel) Shocks

This DMS high performance 50mm shock absorber has one of the largest pistons available in a shock absorber in the world. This gives superior control and more precise tuning due to larger displacement and pressure areas.

These DMS 50mm Rally shocks are designed for rally use on gravel roads. They feature specially designed valving to provide the user with opimised adjustability for the harsh rally gravel environment.

All Rally Gravel applications come with DMS Double Progressive Springs and are able to increase traction over "washboard" type conditions but still absord multible impacts on high speed jumps

The larger the piston area the lower the internal operating pressures and temperatures. This provides higher damping capabilities which are necessary in severe rally or race competition. Compared to conventional shock absorbers the DMS Giant 50mm has over 200% improved accuracy and control.

DMS blue shell case. Made of chrome-moly high strength steel. Threaded and Fitted with screw- adjustable anodised aluminium spring seat and lock nut.

Competition specification mounting brackets with optimum pre set camber. Adjustable camber available on specific models.

50mm shock absorber insert with high flow competition design piston with defined adjustable bump and rebound settings. DMS only use special formulated racing shock absorber fluid.

*** NOTE *** some applications using the unique DMS offset rear bracket for additional stroke will require the use of DMS style rear mounts (either solid or adjustable)
